Clinical Expertise & Background

Dr. Robert Monaco is board-certified in family medicine, sports medicine, and musculoskeletal ultrasound. He possesses extensive clinical expertise in managing musculoskeletal injuries, interventional and diagnostic ultrasound, and ortho-biologics (including PRP and stem cell therapies). He serves as the team physician for USA Figure Skating and previously directed sports medicine at Rutgers University for more than 20 years. Additionally, he is an active clinical researcher with grant-funded work focused on concussion management.

A recognized national leader in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound and interventional ortho-biologics, Dr. Monaco frequently directs and instructs medical training courses nationwide. His practice integrates the latest evidence-based treatment modalities and advanced procedural technologies.
